This game is professional level. All of you whining about the controls have clearly not grown up with the old school platformers.
The whole game feels like old platformer nostalgia on a OoT Legend of Zelda level of adventure awesomeness, mixed with a tiny bit of a more creepy/intense approach (Atai well ruins, i'm looking at you)
Stuck on the kobold boss (aka the Star Fox impersonator) at the moment, he's a bad MF but i'm willing to get to the end.
What to say, everything seems perfect to me, so you get a full rating everywhere.

Yeah, agree with the lower comments. The game itself is quite cool, but the tutorial shouldn't keep advancing even if you lose the ship. I literally went through the whole tutorial section by failing and had not the slightest idea on how to do the first actual level. Fix that, and you're fine.

Really good game, actually; kept feeling thirsty irl when i was running out of water in the game, and in the later days the sight of a rabbit was like a holy miracle... XD

I think i stumbled into a bug, though: at day 16, i got the "knocked door" event. Now, i had let it in for the first two times, then refused to open for other two times. It may sound stupid, but i was running out of food during night, i had finished my oil days before, and i was pretty much condemned. Then i decided to grasp to the last desperate hope: i decided to open the door to the stranger, hoping it would someway get me out of that situation, no matter how. Then, bugged. The time stopped like always, but no one came in. After some seconds i was able to move the character again, yet the time was still frozen at 16:00. I went out, and when i was certain that was a bug, i entered the dark, curious to see how sam was going to die if i stayed too much in there. Heartbeats, a door slamming, then silence, nothing happens. So, i couldn't even die.
Hope i have been helpful. :)

Thanks for the review!

Yep you are not the only one to happen upon this bug, if you simply restart the game and hit continue it should just let you carry on from your last day. Bug free.

finished it right now, with no actual problems with every level but the 9/10 one. English not being my native language, i didn't understand at first what red herring and smugness stood for. Furthermore, i had missed a little point in my logic and it took me a while to finally notice it.
The 10/10 one made me collapse at the very start, but it was ridiculousy easy as soon i had it written down in the same manner as the other levels.
The ending, well, it left me really disappointed and dropped a bit of the admiration i had gained for this flash. I won't spoiler anything, but what i mean is that it's not the ending itself to be disappointing, but the explanation for it. I have read the final dialogue thoroughly a couple of times now, but that "rational potential realisation rate" is still bugging me. All the theories were proven, and the demonstration of an average logical intelligence in the subject was seemingly the aim of the tests. Then, why that counterpoint at the end? You aren't really never given the opportunity to raise that score, so what was the point of all the test?
I really hope you'll answer this, or point out to some kind of an answer to all players in general, because i feel like either i'm missing some important points, or this game is rushed towards the end.
Anyway, you deserved a 5 by sure.

Just... Mirelurks, ahahaha.

Pretty good anyway, especially if that's your first game. ^^

It's strange.

I played this a tiny bit ago and it was awesome. You three below this can go die in a hole, this is just a glitch that started showing after this passed judgement; the game itself is very nice.
I hope in a quick fix before this good flash's score gets grounded.

Could use some fixing.

Background and color buttons don't seem to work...
Also, even if decent, options are still pretty limited and not various enough to satisfy every taste.
It is a good start, but you will have to work more on it to make it a well done flash.

Quite enjoyable.

Even if simple, i enjoyed the race due to the intense nocturne feeling this game has. I mean, it's not just only darker environment colors and restricted sight range, but a very well done shadow that gives the exact, realistic "driving in the night" feel.
Hope this passes judgement, it is of an higher level respect the major part of what you get to see while checking the latest portal submissions. :)

Loved this.

I don't care how the screen scroll was sometimes annoying, command system glitchy from time to time, graphics not at their best...
This game was just plain awesome, due to its storytelling and cool interactivity. The ending was simple but nice, and the preview to the new game promises very well.
Since i started following you with the Paladin serie, i never found a flash of yours that wasn't worth playing.

Contrary to what many have said, i think you should leave the screen scroll as it currently is: at first it's a bit annoying, but as soon as you learn not to touch the screen's edges with the mouse when you don't need to scroll it is be very helpful; given that you keep the pause feature in, of course.
Can't wait to play the new game... :D

Did it. :)

I swear i did not read before trying, but i used the same method as Batraal.

Pretty nice game, though :) gets a 3.
